FRAGments is a curated perfume-as-art celebration of all things olfactory where artisan perfumers can present their work in a gallery setting and sell direct to the public. In addition to highlighting the work of artisan perfumers (those who conceive, make, bottle and market their own work), FRAGments also presents artists who work with the medium of scent and olfaction.  

The name FRAGments recognizes that artisan perfumery is a FRAGrance moveMENT that is distinct from its commercial roots. "FRAG" is perfumista slang for fragrance and implies that artisan perfumers are parts of a whole.

FRAGments 2015 will be held in Richard Neutra's former Silverlake office which has recently been converted into a museum and gallery by his son, Dion Neutra who collaborated with his father on projects in the 1950's and 1960's until Richard Neutra's death in 1970. Dion Neutra has continued his father's legacy and is actively working to preserve this heritage of iconic modern architecture which helped define the character of Los Angeles. To learn more about Richard Neutra and his work please visit www.neutra.org.
